Two faculty members and a student of Bu-Ali Sina University among the laureates of the twenty second Kharazmi Youth Awards

After the ending of judgment and evaluation process of the projects in the 22^nd Kharazmi Youth Awards, two faculty members and a student of Bu-Ali Sina University were selected as the laureates of this year's awards.

As reported by BASNA correspondent, after the ending of the process of judgment and evaluation of the projects which were presented to the jury of the 22^nd Kharazmi Youth Awards, selected projects of this year's ceremony were announced.

Dr. Hedayat Baqeri, assistant professor and faculty member of Biotechnology department of the university, and Asal Peidaei, PhD. student of Biotechnology, earned the second position in the Biotechnology and Basic Medical Sciences group of the applied research category, with the project on biological decomposition of plastic garbage using Galleria Mnellonella larva and insect and detection of molecular factors.

Also, Dr. Sadegh Khazalpour, assistant professor and faculty member of Analytical Chemistry department of Bu-Ali Sina University, earned the third position in the Chemical Technology group of basic research category, with the project on electrochemical stereoselective synthesis of Sulphonamides in green conditions.
