The 2026 Nationwide University Entrance Examination will be held simultaneously across the country, with 23,839 candidates taking part at 14 examination centers in Hamadan Province.

Seyyed Mehdi Masbogh, the authorized representative of the National Organization for Educational Testing (NOET) for the administration of nationwide examinations, announced that the 2026 Nationwide University Entrance Examination will be held in Hamadan Province on Thursday, August 20, and Friday, August 21, 2026.

He stated that the examination will be administered across five subject groups: Arts, Humanities, Mathematics and Technical Sciences, Experimental Sciences, and Foreign Languages, with a total of 23,839 candidates from Hamadan Province taking part.

Masbooq noted that the Experimental Sciences group has the highest number of candidates, while the Foreign Languages group has the lowest. He added that 55 percent of the candidates are women and 45 percent are men.

He further explained that candidates will compete at 14 examination centers, including Bu-Ali Sina University, Hamadan Islamic Azad University, the Hamadan Center of Payame Noor University, the cities of Bahar, Asadabad, Razan, and Kabudarahang, Islamic Azad University of Tuyserkan, Malayer University, Nahavand Higher Education Complex, and the Education and Training Departments of Dargazin, Khazel, and Famenin.

The NOET’s authorized representative in Hamadan Province stated that 6,901 candidates from the province will take the entrance examination at five faculties of Bu-Ali Sina University.

Regarding the distribution of examination admission cards, Masbooq said that admission cards for all five subject groups, along with the examination guidelines, will be available on the official website of the National Organization for Educational Testing from Monday, August 17, through Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Candidates will be able to view and download their cards during this period.

He added that candidates who identify any errors or deficiencies on their admission cards must visit the designated centers for correcting admission-card information within the specified period.

Masbooq stated that the examination will officially begin at 8:00 a.m. for the morning session and 3:00 p.m. for the afternoon session, urging candidates not to postpone their arrival until the final minutes and to be present at their examination centers at least 30 minutes before the start of the examination.

The NOET’s authorized representative in Hamadan Province also called on families to identify the location of their children’s examination centers before the examination day and make appropriate arrangements to ensure timely arrival, thereby helping prevent congestion at the entrances to examination centers.

Regarding permitted and prohibited items in the examination room, he said candidates must bring their printed admission card, the original national ID card or original photo-bearing birth certificate, several soft black pencils, a pencil sharpener, an eraser, and a pin or needle when entering the examination room.

Masbooq emphasized that bringing any additional items—including handbags, bags, mobile phones even when switched off, tablets, digital pens, smartwatches, smart bracelets, smart rings, notes, books, calculators, written materials, and other personal belongings—is strictly prohibited in the examination room.

He further stressed that, since the examination questions are designed so that calculators are not required to answer them, candidates must refrain from bringing calculators into the examination room. Candidates carrying any type of calculator will not be permitted to enter the examination session and will be dealt with in accordance with the relevant regulations.
