Dr. Akbar Etemad, the founder of Bu-Ali Sina University and Atomic Energy Organization, attended the meeting of the Charity Foundation of supporters of the University while also paying a visit to D8, Basic Sciences, and Arts and Architecture Faculties
During the meeting of the Charity Foundation of supporters of the University, Dr. Etemad stated: "the purpose behind the establishment of Bu-Ali Sina University was to contribute to the progress of the western part of the country in different areas including social, political, cultural, etc. and also to create a platform for the development of sciences and arts."
"Commerce and Economy have a history of at least 2000 years in Hamedan. In recent decades, economic issues have lost their importance in Hamedan and this is not good at all for a city with so much potential", he added.
Dr. Etemad ultimately stressed: "today we need development in areas of economy and entrepreneurship. Fields of Management, Accountancy and Economy need an independent faculty."
